Heyho! This is Sebastian from the Comic Studio Sunderland! We’re a new Team focusing on comics, illustration and animation. Our favourite subject is character design. If you’re interested in our work, you might check out our portfolios.

Right now, our team consists of me, Sebastian Kempke (born in 1980 in the maritime metropolis of Hamburg in Germany), and Gregor Schenker from Switzerland (born in 1984)!

The latest stuff we did in english was “The Children of Rungholt” in 2006 which will now, 4 years later, be available for free in central London as part of the magazine “Krazy Bov #03″. The compilation will be distributed in May 2010. Click here for more info on the other cool comics in that issue and check out the option to get one magazine mailed to you for free (excl. postage)!

Then there’s the great game “What makes you tick? 2 – A Stitch in Time” developed by my brother Matt Kempke and his friend and producer/programmer Greg MacWilliam from New York. “Stitch” is a point and click adventure and a very advanced one. Featuring a wonderful script, terrific backgrounds, beautiful music and even a Day-and-Night engine, this one is a feast for adventure-game-ethusiast like myself! I did most of the character design and some additional art. Right now the game is in the beta-testing-stage but you might check out the official website and the Demo, which is little masterpiece by itself!
